Submission faq
Is there a submission fee?
No. There is no money exchanged between the publishers and the authors. We are simply using this site as a way to concentrate and share great literature.
Can I publish under a pen name?
Yes, absolutely.
Is there a specific genre?
No. We are accepting poetry and short-stories of any genre.
What rights do the author retain?
The author retains all rights. We do not own your work, we are just simply sharing it.
How long can my short story be?
We ask that you keep it around 700 words. If you send us a piece that's really long but we like it, we would be willing to work with you in shortening it to fit the length we need. We understand this is very short, but for formatting issues, anything too long might be an issue.
How many pieces will be published in each issue?
How many pieces we will publish depends on how many submissions we can get, but we would like to start off with 10-15 pieces.
Will the editors change my work without my permission?
No. If our editors see anything they think should be changed or fixed, they will converse with you via E-mail about the issue. Only if you consent to changes will they be made.
How quickly will I hear from you?
Since this is a small operation and we expect to put out an issue every other month, you can expect to hear from us within two weeks.
ART WORK SUBMISSIONS:
What rights to the piece does the artist retain?
Much like the literary submissions, we do not own any of your work. We are using this site as a way to channel and share great literature, and are hoping to expand this hope to include art work.
Will I be paid for my art work?
Unfortunately, no. There will be no money exchanged between the artists and the publishers.
Will my art be changed without my permission?
No. Our team will need to make some adjustments only to format the literature. We will then send the formatted edition back to the artist for approval. We will not format the poem/short story and publish it without first seeking approval of the artist.
Feel free to ask any further questions in the contact box, and our team will get an answer to you asap
